A craft beer pub that also offers its own mini-golf on site will be coming to downtown Tacoma.
Flatstick will occupy the space that was once the Learning Sprout Toys store on Pacific Avenue. Learning Sprouts closed in 2017. Banner printing can be used on such sites to inform the community of new establishments.
The new pub will be 12,000 square feet in size and Flatstick’s largest location. It will be similar to Flatstick’s three other locations in the state. The menu will be comprised of independent beers from Washington state. The pub’s innovative table-golf invention, Duffleboard, will be featured along with other games.
Food offerings will come from a partnership with Ethan Stowell, a chef and owner of several restaurant groups, such as Staple & Fancy, Cortina, and Tavolata. The specific items on the menu are yet to be determined but will focus on casual and beer-friendly options, such as pizza, and appetizers including mozzarella sticks and garlic fries.
Flatstick first opened on 2014 in Kirkland. Its next location opened in Pioneer Square in Seattle in 2016, followed by the South Lake Union bar in 2018. It is also planning another location in Sacramento, California but that bar will be only part of the Flatstick umbrella as it is being licensed to Tipsy Puff, a California company.
