Sierra is now open in the Sunset Square shopping center in Federal Way, a short driving distance from Tacoma.
A discount store for outdoor clothing that is one of the retails brands of the T.J. Maxx group, Sierra sells outdoor and active gear for both adults and children and includes footwear, Apparel, and gear at prices significantly lower than specialty and department stores. The new store spans 18,000 square feet.
Sierra has other locations in the state of Washington, at the Cordata Center in Bellingham and at The Trails at Silverdale in Silverdale. There are 125 locations of the store across the country.
The assistant vice president and marketing director for Sierra, Amanda Johnson, expressed her thrill about bringing the off-price shopping experience of Sierra to more residents of Washington with the opening of its third store in the state. She added that the goal is to bring amazing savings to communities on the active footwear, Apparel, and gear so that they can derive the greatest benefit from their daily activities.
The store is currently hiring associates on a full-time and part-time basis. Poster printing is one way to inform a city and neighboring communities of such new employment opportunities.
The hours for the store are 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.
