Business school in Tacoma to receive new dean

The University of Washington Tacoma Milgard School of Business is due to have a new dean before the fall.

A temporary dean is poised to fill the shoes of the current leader. When the present dean Shahrokh Saudagaran steps down, he will become a director at the Master of Accounting program of Milgard. He may therefore want to use business card printing in Tacoma as he takes up his new post. He has made a statement to mark his change of position:

“I am proud of the Milgard School’s many accomplishments during my tenure as the Gary E. And James A. Milgard Endowed Dean over the past 11 years. I have appreciated the opportunity to serve my alma mater and the South Sound community over the past decade and look forward to continuing to do so in the years to come.”

While the interim dean is in charge, the institution will be obliged to recruit a leader. The search for the right individual will be national in scope according to Mark Pagano, the Chancellor.

Saudagaran has reportedly accomplished a wide range of things during his period at the helm. Firstly, he has doubled the size of the faculty to over 25 staff members. Secondly, he has secured accreditation for the school by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Thirdly, he has established centers of Leadership and Social Responsibility and Information Based Management.
