Along with many communities all across the country, Tacoma will be holding celebrations to mark the Fourth of July.
Organizers of the Tacoma Freedom Fair and Airshow expect it to draw crowds from a wide area. There will be an open air style marketplace where the public can browse through crafts, art and food produced by people from the local area, as well as amusements, a classic car show, a pole vaulting championship for the whole of the Northwest region, Camp Patriot, and much more. Live music will also be playing for the enjoyment of those who attend.
Along with these activities, there will be an air show with everything from vintage aircraft to aerobatic demonstrations, and to cap it all off, a Grand Finale Fireworks Extravaganza will be held once the sun goes down.
All of this will be taking place on the Rushton Way Waterfront on July 4th from 8:00 am until 10:30 pm. There is no charge for admission, but all donations will be gratefully accepted.
