Spring break is on the way, and for Tacoma families who are looking for something for something a little bit different for their kids to do, the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium may have just the answer.
The facility is offering a ‘Spring Break Superstars’ event, during which a different superstar animal will be showcased each day. These include wolves, sharks, tapirs, elephants, and polar bears.
Those who take part will be able to feed these specially selected animals treats and engage in activities that will give them an opportunity to get some hands-on experience with them. Along with this, they will learn more about what they can do to help protect endangered wildlife, both locally and around the world. Brochure printing can be used to create pamphlets that give more information about the different animals at the zoo, as well as whether or not they are endangered and what is being done to protect them.
These special midwinter break activities are free to everyone who has a zoo membership, or who pays the facility’s admission price.
Spring break Superstars will take place at the Point Defiance zoo and Aquarium, starting on April 4 and running until April 9 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. The facility is located at 5400 N Pearl Street in Tacoma. Those would like more information can find it on the zoo’s website.
