Tacoma event to shine a spotlight on sustainable living

Sustainable living will be the focus of an upcoming Tacoma event, and everyone with an interest in the field is invited to attend.

The 217 South Sound Sustainability Expo will bring together individuals, organizations, and businesses who are interested in making the world a sustainable place. There will be displays set up that cover a variety of topics such as green building, energy efficiency, sustainable products, food and agricultural production, ‘green’ transportation, and wildlife habitat restoration.

Those who plan on attending are reminded to bring along the kids, as there will also be plenty of activities for them to enjoy. A movie and book swap has been planned, and when time comes for a bite to eat, Tollefson Plaza will be filled with food trucks.

Those who organize an event like this can use the services of a printer that uses sustainable methods to provide everything from Banners to Brochures, Presentation Folders, Signs, and any other printed products they need.

This will be the 10th anniversary for the expo, which is organized by the City of Tacoma. It will be held on March 4 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm in the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center and also Tollefson Plaza. Additional details and a listing of the vendors, activities, and more can be found on its website.
