Infoblox has confirmed it will stay for six more years in Tacoma.
The company hosts its hiring hub and Center of Excellence in the Old Brewery District in the city at the Horizon Pacific Center. Director of Facilities for Infoblox, Michael Pamintuan, said that a variety of factors were considered in making this decision. He went on to say that this space enables a flexible work model that allows people to work from home, as well as the traditional office set-up. Stationery printers may be needed for such situations to expand a company’s repository of Letterheads and other corporate materials.
Vice President for Business Retention and Expansion at the Economic Development Board (EDB) for Tacoma-Pierce County, Maddie Merton, said that the EDB is thrilled that Infoblox will be remaining and investing in Tacoma. Merton added that this will help to strengthen the economy in the county.
Business Development Manager for the city, Pat Beard, said that InfoBlox is a local and global leader in cybersecurity, and is important to the technology sector in the city. Beard expressed how much the city values the company’s commitment to the community.
The EDB focuses on retaining existing companies in Pierce County and helping them expand, as well as recruiting new firms. It also looks to create new jobs in the area and help to grow its economy.
