Tacoma baseball team invites dogs to enjoy a game

The Tacoma Rainiers will be hosting K9-Innings this summer. It will be a celebration of the fans’ best friend, as attendees of the game will be able to bring along their furry companions to Cheney Stadium.

All breeds of dogs are welcomed but need to be accompanied by their owner. Those who have tickets for the game will be able to go the gate at third base and purchase a ticket for their dog as well as vouchers for vendor items. The cost per ticket for a pet is $5..

The Tacoma Rainiers will be donating $1 for every dog entry sold to Northwest Spay and Neuter. There will also be 15 booths that are dog-friendly that will be set up on the day of the game, where attendees can learn about groomer, veterinarians, and non-profit organizations, among others.

Such special games and their fundraising efforts are often advertised throughout a city and surrounding communities with Promotional Products.

The Tacoma Rainiers are a Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. The team has been an affiliate of the Mariners since 1995 and a member of the Pacific Coast League since Cheney Stadium opened in 1960.

The game will be held on Sunday, July 12 with the gates opening at noon and the first pitch at 1:35 pm. The Rainiers will be playing the Las Vegas Aviators.
