Extensive holiday show to come to Tacoma

The Holiday Food and Gift Festival will be held at the Tacoma Dome next month over a period of four days. This festival is considered the largest holiday show in the western part of the United States.

This will be the 38th year for this expansive holiday gift show. Banner printing can be used throughout the region to promote such special events. There will be 550 booths of specialty foods, holiday gifts, handmade arts and crafts, and much more. There will a hanging Christmas tree 45 feet tall. Santa Claus will be making a visit, with special photo opportunities available.

At the festival the top chefs in the city will share their cooking techniques and recipes during the Cooking For The Holidays culinary demonstrations to help attendees prepare a memorable holiday feast. There will be a train setup from the Tacoma National Model Railroad Association and entertainment on the main stage from local studios and schools.

Showcase Events, Inc. of Washington is the promotor of the festival and sponsors include The New Tribune, Bates Technical College, and TNN. Festival hours will be from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 21 to Saturday, October 23, and from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 24. Ticket prices range from $15 to $17 per person with children 13 years of age and younger admitted free of charge.
