Business best to be showcased in Tacoma
Those in Tacoma who have an idea for a small business, and who would like to show it off to the world, will be taking center stage at an event planned for this coming fall in Tacoma.
The IMPACT PITCH: Small Business Competition & Showcase, which has been organized by the Veterans Business Outreach Center along with Business Impact NW, will give selected semifinalists an opportunity to present a pitch for their current business or start-up to a panel of judges, who will choose the winners in three different categories. These will be the best woman-owned venture, the best veteran-owned venture, and the best minority-owned venture. Prizes of up to $10,000 could be awarded to the finalists.
The Veterans Business Outreach Center, which is one of the hosts for the evening, seeks to lend support to entrepreneurs who are part of the community of the U.S. military and help them achieve success. A stationery printing company can provide it with all the printed office materials it requires in both its day-to-day operations and special events as well.
The event will take place on November 4, and will run from 6:00 pm until 9:30 pm at Court House Square, located at 1102 A St. in Tacoma.
Further details about Impact Pitch, and an opportunity to purchase tickets, can be found on its website.
