Two notable rock bands to play San Diego

Rock bands play a wide range of genres from punk rock to hard rock to classic rock, and now, industrial rock, and two rock bands will showcase their talents here in San Diego next month.

Trent Reznor, a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, singer, and producer, formed Nine Inch Nails in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1988. Reznor was the band’s only permanent member until Atticus Ross joined officially in 2016. When touring, Reznor prefers to assemble a band who perform under the Nine Inch Nails name. This outfit has changed over the years, with musicians rotating in and out. In addition to Reznor and Ross, musicians have included Robin Finck, Stu Brooks, and Josh Freese. Their concerts are known for their elaborate lighting, special effects, and visual effects. They often rearrange their songs to fit the individual performance.

Nine Inch Nails has sold over 20 million albums throughout the world and been nominated for numerous awards. They have won three Grammys out of 14 nominations, including one in 2026 for Best Rock Song for “As Alive as You Need Me to Be.”

Boys Noize is coming along for the fun. A German-Iraqi producer, songwriter, and DJ, Boys Noize often tours with Nine Inch Nails. He co-wrote the song “Rain on Me,” for which Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande won a Grammy.

Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize will appear at the Pechanga Arena on March 9. The venue is located at 3500 Sports Arena Boulevard. Organizers who schedule shows like this can use poster printing to create advertising for them.
