Families are invited to come to Liberty Station for a full day of fun activities.
One of the most popular family events in Los Angeles is coming to San Diego for a single day. The Great Big Family Play Day is presented by Tonies and will bring a full day of entertainment with it. The Play Day has been called “Coachella for families,” and includes live entertainment with new performances on the hour, exhibits, interactivities, food trucks, giveaways, swags, samples and more.
The entertainment is the biggest draw. The performers scheduled to appear are The Science Guys, Trees of Dreams, Kids Imagine Nation, Kathryn the Grape, the Beat Buds, and Laurie Berkner. Berkner is a guitarist and lead vocalist for The Laurie Berkner Band, which also features bassist Winston Roye, pianist Susie Lampert, and drummer Bob Golden. She is part of the kindie rock genre, music especially for children.
In addition to enjoying music, people can take part in activities including crafting stations, sports zones, a Woom Bike Course, a Bluey meet and greet, a do-it-yourself tie-dye station, face painting, foam parties, a Volvo the youngsters can color on, and much more.
The Great Big Family Play Day is scheduled for November 7, from 9.30 am until 5.00 pm, at Ingram Plaza at Liberty Station. Events like this can receive support when organizers work with poster printing to create exciting advertising for them.
