Clint Black was born in New Jersey but raised in Texas, where the family home was filled with music. By the time he was 15, Black had taught himself to play the harmonica and guitar, had written his first song, and was in a band with his brothers before going solo.
In 1989, Black signed with RCA Nashville, which released his debut album, “Killin’ Time,” that year. Four of the singles on that album went straight to the No. 1 spot on the US Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, but that was only the beginning. In his career, Black has put over 30 singles on the country charts, 22 of which were No. 1 hits.
Black has also appeared on television and in film, and starred in the 1998 film “Still Holding On: The Legend of Cadillac Jack.”
He received a Grammy in 1999 for his collaborations on “Same Old Train,” and won the American Music Award in 1990 as “Favorite Country New Artist.” He has received awards from the Country Music Association, and the Academy of Country Music. A review says:
“Solid performance by Clint Black. His band was spectacular and a good time was had by all.”
Clint Black will be at Humphreys Concerts by the Bay on October 19. When they schedule events like this, promoters will often contact printers who use poster printing to create advertising.
