Dan Soder is known for his work on the Showtime series “Billions,” where he played the character of Mafee, and for co-hosting The Bonfire on Sirius XM with Big Jay Oakerson, a gig he had from 2015 to 2023. He has also made numerous appearances on “Guy Code” on MTV2.
Soder is a native of Hartford, Connecticut but grew up in Colorado and went to college at the University of Arizona, where he began performing stand-up. He graduated with degrees in political science and journalism, but maintained his taste for the stage. A year after he graduated, he relocated to New York City to pursue his dream.
He now has multiple television appearances on his résumé, including “the Half Hour” on comedy Central; “Opie and Anthony,” also on Comedy Central; “Guy Court” and “Guy Code” on MTV2, and a podcast with Robert Kelly called “You Know What Dude!” He appeared in numerous episodes of “Inside Amy Schumer,” and in 2018, wrestling fan Soder was a guest on the podcast “Wrestling Soup.”
