Organizers planning concerts for as early as June

The world has slowed down in order to deal with the coronavirus pandemic, several events venues are already planning events for when normality returns.

The stay-at-home order from Governor Ralph Northam is scheduled to end on 10th June. Organizers are putting together events for after that so that life can return to normal.

Glen Allen’s series of outdoor concerts for 2020 was supposed to start on May 15 with a Jamey Johnson however that has been pushed back August 7. The Billy Currington concert that was scheduled for 29th May has been moved to 20th June.

Several other concerts scheduled to take place at the Innsbrook After Hours at the end of June, such as Arron Lewis, will go ahead as scheduled. Other concerts that will go on as planned include The Indigo Girls on 15th July, hip-hop legend Ludacris on 18th July, the Blues Travelers scheduled for 30th July, and Steve Miller scheduled for 12th August. Flyer printing is a popular way of promoting a concert.

Adam Klein, the spokesperson for the series of concerts, sent out an email where he said:



“We plan to continue announcing shows for this season and hope to give our fans something to look forward to when we come out of this. We are constantly assessing the status of shows on our schedule.”
