The Atlantic 10 Women’s Basketball Tournament will be hosted in Glen Allen this March, featuring some of the region’s top teams looking for a chance at national glory.
The tournament will be the culmination of the conference’s season, with 15 schools seeded into a knockout tournament based on their regular-season records. Teams will include the University of Richmond Spiders and the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Rams, along with visitors from the Northeast and Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic region.
The single-elimination tournament will take the form of 14 games across five days. The winning team will receive a guaranteed berth in the 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament, and other teams can look for an at-large bid based on their performance. George Washington University has won the most tournament titles, with Richmond and George Mason among more recent winners.
The tournament will also be a weekend-long event hosted by community volunteers, including food and a youth education initiative. Discount rates are available for groups and community members.
