Princesses to dance in Canonsburg
An upcoming event in Canonsburg will be fun for everyone.
The Royal Princess Engagements Valentine Ball will include face painting, activities, games, a tea party luncheon, and a show, as well as an opportunity for people attending the event to interact with 13 popular princesses.
The event is hosted by Royal Princess Engagements, who have a “cast” of princesses who interact with partygoers. An appearance by the princesses includes their Royal Arrival, a photograph session with autographs, stories told by the princesses, songs, and a Royal Farewell.
The company is not affiliated with Disney, and some of the princesses are from much older fairy tales. The current characters who may be at the Canonsburg event include Mary Poppins, Snow White, Dorothy of Oz, the Tea Party Princess, Princess Cinders, Princess ‘Punzel, the Ice Deliverer, the Snow Princess, and the Ice Queen. When they plan events like this, organizers may use banner printing to create decorations.
At a recent event, the princesses in attendance sang songs associated with their characters. For example, Moana sang “How Far I’ll Go,” and Elsa sang “Let It Go.”
The party is also a fundraiser for The Salvation Army. The well-known organization was established by William Booth in England around 1878.
The ball is scheduled for Sunday, February 16, from 1.00 pm until 4.00 pm, at the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh, which is located at 1000 Corporate Drive in Canonsburg.
