Canonsburg residents ready to explore new career paths may be in luck as a career fair is working closely with Pennsylvania State Senator to kick-start new opportunities.
The Career Kick-Start, partnering with Pennsylvania Senator Camera Bartolotta, will be setting up shop in Canonsburg this May to provide area residents with a professional development opportunity designed to aid their job search.
Senator Bartolotta is working with Pennsylvania Women Work in an effort to ensure that job seekers in Canonsburg and the surrounding area have the tools and confidence to start taking steps toward their ideal career. Attendees will spend the morning participating in interactive group discussions to identify their skills and ways to translate them into an impressive resume.
The lunch period will allow attendees to refuel while networking with their peers. Business Cards can provide a quick and impressive way to exchange information while networking at such events. Guests can also get a free professional headshot at the Career Kick-Start.
The afternoon will provide opportunities to meet one-on-one with a career coach and begin refining their resume. Attendees can also begin exploring new employment opportunities.
The Frank Sarris Public Library in Canonsburg has been chosen as a host site for the career fair. It’s set to open at 8:30 AM on Friday, May 8th. Registration is free and open online.
