Canonsburg has big plans for St. Patrick’s Day, with the announcement of the 4th Annual Shamrock Shuffle.
The shuffle is a bar crawl through some of the community’s favorite restaurants, breweries, and cellars.
Hosts of the event are the Last Call Bar and Grill; The Hofbrau, a classic American restaurant; Harry E. Hopkins Brewery; Rusty Gold Brewing; Silver Mark Cellars, a winery; SNPJ, a fraternal organization; the Bar Association, a local gastropub; and Big Fella’s, a pizzeria.
The Shamrock Shuffle runs a bit differently than similar events. The participating vendors will close to everyone except ticketed participants for the duration of the Shuffle. Once the Shuffle concludes, the vendors will reopen to the public. Patrons will buy a ticket, receive a stamp card and wrist band, and begin their crawl at the same bar.
Tickets are $30 per person, which includes access to special drinks and food options at every stop; the use of four “Shamrock Shuttles” for transportation throughout Canonsburg; a swag bag of St. Paddy’s gear at each stop; and entry to a drawing for a $1,000 cash prize. Tickets to the Shuffle are limited and are expected to sell out, so anyone interested should purchase them soon.
The Shamrock Shuffle is scheduled for March 14, from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm, after which the vendors will reopen to everyone. When they plan events like this, organizers can improve the experience for participants by using flyer printing to create a handout with a map and list of participants.
