Peters Township kids camps now available
For parents who live in Venetia, or in surrounding areas such as McMurray, there are several children’s camps at the Peters Township Community Recreation Center that are now open for registration.
Some of the themes for the camps taking place throughout the summer include Dance it Out, Exploring Computer Programming, Jumpbunch - Fun in the Sun, Lion King Theatre, Playground Pals, Silly Science, Sound of Music Theatre, Summertime Craft, and regular Summer Day camp.
Children as young as three can participate in some of the camps, and prices for registration run from as low as $35 to as high as $225 with rates depending on whether or not the registered child is a resident, or if the parent is a member of the organization running the camp.
Camps are available from July through August and will either occur weekly or will only be a one-time event that occurs over a period of a few days, so those who are interested in signing their children up for these camps should do so now in order to avoid disappointment.
Registration is limited and some of the programs have already reached maximum capacity. To register a child for one of the children’s camps, or to view the community calendars that have information about other events going on in the area, visit the Community Pass website.
