Natural gas industry to meet in Canonsburg
An upcoming meeting in Canonsburg will provide a forum for a discussion of recompression of natural gas.
The speaker is Adam Murray of WeldFit, and he will discuss recompression, how it works, and how it relates to the methane regulations passed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The event begins at 11.00 am with check-in, opportunities for networking, and lunch. From 12.00 pm until 12.45 pm there will be announcements, an introduction of the sponsors, the presentation, and closing remarks. From 12.45 pm until 1.00 pm, a Q&A session is planned, which will take place while attendees have a chance to see a demonstration of WeldFit’s ReCAP Cross Compression System.
The event is a meeting of the GPA Midstream Appalachian Basin Chapter (ABGPA Midstream). The chapter is a non-profit organization that represents corporations and industry professionals who work in more than 150 companies. The individual members as well as the corporations gather and process natural gas into pipeline gas that can be sold. The organization also gives members a chance to exchange information and ideas about developments in the industry.
The luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, September 10, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, at Bella Sera, 414 Morganza Road in Canonsburg. Attendees are eligible for a certification of continuing education. When events like this are organized, planners can reach out to printers, asking them to use brochure printing to create materials explaining the issues in depth.
