McMurray golfers to tee off for summer fundraiser
The 25th annual Golf Outing and Fundraiser, presented by the Peters Township Chamber of Commerce, is taking place in McMurray this June. Proceeds from the event will benefit the area’s Volunteer Fire Department.
Fees for the outing include the usual 18 rounds of golf, the use of a cart, and locker room privileges. Players will also be treated to lunch before play begins, a margarita tent, dinner, and awards presentations. Each golfer this year is going to receive a free Super Ticket which gives them mulligans and entry for games, such as ‘closest to the pin’, ‘hit the green’ and ‘longest putt’.
Sponsorships are also available from $125 to $2,000. Sponsors will be recognized on signs throughout the golf course.
McMurray printing companies are often asked to provide signage to the organizers of charity and fundraising events like this one. Signs for a golf tournament can be any size; whether large enough to be seen from several yards away or appearing on a tee flag.
The Golf Outing and Fundraiser will be held at the Rolling Hills Country Club on June 2 from 11:30 am - 7:30 pm, with play beginning at 1:00 pm. Fees are $175 per person or $40 for dinner only. The deadline to register is May 29.
