McMurray area meeting to take aim at chronic pain
Chronic pain affects many people, and having the support and understanding of others who understand what it's like can make a big difference. This is the inspiration behind a brand new group that will soon start meeting near McMurray, and it is open to anyone who feels they can benefit.
Life coach Jennifer Whirlow and D and M Chiropractic have organized a group that will offer support and ideas for individuals living with chronic pain. It will give the members a chance to meet with others who are in a similar situation so they can share coping ideas and other tips, and it is all being offered free of charge so that it can benefit as many as possible.
Each of the meetings, which will run for one hour, will include different activities. Cooking demonstrations and guest speakers have both been planned, and each month, there will be time for the group to ask the experts any questions they have. The organizers of this type of event can count on local print shops to provide them with copies of handouts and other materials to distribute to the participants.
The first meeting of the chronic pain group will be offered on January 10th. The start time for the session, which will be held at D&M Chiropractic and Therapeutic Rehab in Upper Saint Clair, will be 7:00 pm.
