Local fundraiser comes to veterans aid
The ‘Fuggedaboutit’ fundraiser is taking place this March in Canonsburg. Funds raised from this event will allow a local injured veteran to get treatment at the Carrick Brain Center through the Care to Share Program.
Themed on the TV show ‘The Sopranos’, the evening is presented by the 3 Rivers Wealth Management Group. There will be plenty of food, an open bar and music provided by Jimmy Sapienza's 5 Guys Names Moe. Guests will also enjoy a dessert bar, a martini bar, liquor and beer tastings, and a massage chair.
For the women especially, the ‘bling bar’ will be selling a range of jewelry, and spa consultants will be providing advice. In addition, guest can play a variety of games and bid on auction items. There will also be raffles, and VIP guests will receive a free gift bag.
Some of the vendors taking part in this important fundraiser may want to let their current customers from the area, including those from McMurray, know that they will be there. That may include investing in poster printing for displays in their regular business.
Fuggedaboutit is being held at Bella Sera in Canonsburg on February 27 from 7:00 - 11:00 PM. General admission tickets are $75 each and VIP tickets are $100; tables of 10 are available for $1,000. Call 425-235-4050 for more information.
