Guitar show comes to Canonsburg
A successful and popular show is scheduled for Canonsburg.
The "The Greater Pittsburgh Guitar Show" is the most-attended and largest guitar show in Western Pennsylvania. Everyone is welcome including guitar players of all levels, luthiers, guitar builders, collectors, custom amp builders, and vendors who have anything to do with music. The vendors will be trading, buying and selling at the show, which is a one-day festival.
Vendors will be dealing in musical instruments both new and used, tapes, electronics, effects pedals, amps, vintage guitars, memorabilia, literature, CDs, records, and more. They will also be paying top dollar for used instruments, so enthusiasts are encouraged to dig out their old guitars if they are interested in selling them. In addition, everyone who buys a ticket will be entered into a giveaway for a guitar. Such event organizers can make use of flyer printing services to design handouts for attendees, listing vendors and their specialties.
Organizers of the show note that there were ten shows held in Monroeville, at the Palace Inn, between 2000 and 2007. The highly successful events tapped into a growing trend toward allowing people to try a guitar before buying it.
This is the 13th year for the show, which will be held at the Southpoint Printscape Arena. The Printscape Arena is the premier event center for Pittsburgh and is located on Southpointe Boulevard in Canonsburg.
The Guitar Show is set for February 27, from 11.00 am until 4.00 pm.
