Dancers to find their rhythm in helping children
Dancing for a Cause is taking place this October, raising funds for Watchful Shepherd, which is an organization that helps to prevent child abuse.
Eight community and business leaders will be paired off with professional instructors from the Arthur Miller Dance Studio. They will be competing in ballroom dancing, and will help to raise money through sponsorship from the community. The couple with the largest number of the votes will receive the People's Choice award, and there will also be a Judges’ Award.
In addition to watching a dance performance, attendees will enjoy drinks, dinner, and other entertainment. Sponsorships are available from $600 for entertainment up to $5,000 for dinner. The highest level sponsor will be recognized on signs at the event and will have a reserved table for 12. Other levels will mean they are mentioned in the event's program.
Supporters of the organization from the area, including McMurray, will no doubt want to attend this unique fundraiser. Local stationery printers may provide flyers for advertising, in addition to supplying the event program.
