Chamber announces new fundraiser
The Peters Township Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first annual bowling fundraiser in less than a month’s time. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Chamber's Community and Scholarship Fund.
Each player is promised three games. Fees will include shoe rental, snacks, pizza, and soda. The cost for a team of up to six players is $500 and, in addition to all of the above, they will also receive two pitchers of beer and their company logo will be displayed on a video screen. The cost for one person is $75 and $20 for spectators. There will also be a cash bar.
Other activities taking place during the evening will include a Chinese auction, various door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and bowling prizes.
For companies and members who want to sponsor the event, the cost ranges from $125 up to $1,500, and the donation of gift baskets and gift cards will also be welcomed for the auction.
Members will likely come from all over the area, including McMurray, to take part in this new fundraiser. Sponsors of the event may even contact their local print company to order flyers so they can let their customers know about it.
