Canonsburg area festival to bring fall fun
An area festival will soon be celebrating the season, and it will help to keep the community safe by raising funds for the Houston Volunteer Fire Company.
This Canonsburg area event will offer plenty of fall fun, and there will be offerings to suit almost any interest. It will take advantage of the usually pleasant early October weather by being hosted outdoors, and will be open to the public for three days.
The plans for the occasion include at least 175 different craft vendors and other small businesses, and there will also be food service providers on site. Live music and other entertainment has been booked, and the kids can enjoy the activities and games set up with them in mind. A parade and pumpkin related competitions will round out the festivities, and admission into the function is free of charge. The venue can be found at 124 West Pike Street in Houston.
Keeping an event like this on budget may not always be an easy task for its planners, but print shops will be able to help. They can offer materials at a variety of price points, including thrifty options that are meant to be used over and over.
The 38th annual Houston Pumpkin Festival will run from October 8 to 10. The gates will open to the public each day at 10:00 am.
