Annual event raises fund to help local children
The Chefs for CASA gala is taking place next month in nearby Canonsburg. It is a fundraiser for CASA for Kids, Inc.
CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates and it provides help and services to abused and neglected children from Washington County.
Guests will enjoy a meal catered by local restaurants such as Franco's Trattoria and Arlecchino. Adam Brock and the Jazz Trio will be providing the after-dinner entertainment. There will also be a Chinese auction where those whose tickets are picked choose their prize, along with a gift tree raffle. In past years, the event has started off with a cocktail reception where guests can mingle with representatives of CASA, and this is followed by a sit-down dinner.
Sponsorships are available for $500 which includes a table of four and $1,250 for a table of 10. The organization is also accepting $100 donations to allow volunteers to attend.
There is still time for more restaurants to apply to participate in this year's event. Several of the participating restaurants are located in McMurray and will no doubt be investing in marketing services to inform their customers of the fact.
