Woodstock-style event comes to San Bernardino

San Bernardino music lovers of all ages may want to attend a different kind of festival next month.

Centered on dressing up and camping, the ‘Beyond Wonderland Music Festival’ offers two days of continuous music and dance festivity that has become popular in recent years in venues across the West Coast.

The festival is unique in that it is held in venues that allow camping, and features a wide range of electronic artists, performing on several different stages at the same time. The arrangement is similar to rock concerts like Woodstock, and will be an event where attendees join together to celebrate music and themselves enjoying it together.

Those planning to attend may want to consider what they wear. There is a history of both performers and attendees dressing in outlandish costumes, which become harder to tell the difference between them as the performers sometimes join the crowd as part of their act. Many invite others in the crowd to participate. Some may want to have banner printing done to promote themselves or one of the performers.

The festival will be held Friday and Saturday, March 18 and 19, at the San Manuel Amphitheater & Grounds, 2575 Glen Helen Parkway, San Bernardino. Ticket prices range from $149 for a two-day pass to $329, depending on access. Those that plan to stay overnight will also need to get camping passes.
