One of San Bernardino’s premier event venues is hosting an electronic music showcase this July.
Held at the National Orange Show (NOS) Event Center, the hours-long concert is dubbed Dreamstate into the Sequence. It features a lineup of eight artists who all create music within the genre known as psychedelic trance, or psytrance.
This high-tempo subgenre of electronic dance music maintains a rhythmic and unrelenting pace throughout each song, honing in on specific frequencies to help listeners get lost in the music and dancing.
Infected Mushroom is one of the bands performing at the concert. They were on the ground floor when the genre first took shape 30 years ago. Formed in 1996, the band has released more than a dozen albums over the decades.
Infected Mushroom is made up of artists Amit “Duvdev” Duvdevani and Erez Eisen, who were originally trained in classical music growing up. They’ve since collaborated with artists such as Lady Gaga and Matisyahu, among many others.
Other artists set to perform at the concert include Astrix, Captain Hook, Coexist, Freedom Fighters, Giorgia Angiuli, Maximizer and Tristan.
