San Bernardino’s California Theatre of the Performing Arts is hosting a murder mystery event, where participants join in on the roleplaying.
A Crash Course in Murder Speakeasy Experience encourages people to dress as 1920s characters as they work to solve a murder together. It is designed to have scripted events, with scenes running the gamut from humorous to thrilling.
Whether people choose to dress as a pilot, socialite, or perhaps a private detective, everyone will get the chance to solve the murder, with complex clues peppering the path. Professional actors will also be in the mix, helping guide the participants through the narrative, with all its twists, turns, comedy, and suspense.
The event is for adults only and includes a flight of four cocktails with the ticket price.
A period piece mystery is on-brand for the California Theatre of Performing Arts, since the historic 1,718-seat auditorium was built in 1928. With its vaudevillian roots still celebrated to this day, such a venue is sure to add to the immersion of the show,
