The San Bernardino Valley College Auditorium is welcoming the San Bernardino Youth Symphony Orchestra for a concert this spring.
The concert represents the culmination of months of rehearsals held multiple times a month since the beginning of the year, and the first full-blown performance since last year’s back-to-back Christmas Festival and Fall Concert performances in December.
Looking ahead, the San Bernardino Youth Symphony Orchestra is also preparing for a Summer Youth Music Camp. Their next performance is themed “America, the Beautiful” and will be held in late June on the San Bernardino Valley College Football Field.
Featuring students from the Coachella Valley, the Inland Empire, and neighboring communities, the San Bernardino Symphony Youth Orchestra welcomes musicians ages 14-18. There’s also a younger-focused San Bernardino Symphony Overture Orchestra, which welcomes students ages 12-14.
Each group boasts a full orchestra arrangement, with percussion, keyboard, harp, brass, woodwind and string instruments. The mission of the youth orchestra groups are to provide a space where children’s musical interests can grow.
Concerts like this may choose to use brochure printing to create audience programs and music sheet Books.
The San Bernardino Youth Symphony Orchestra Spring Concert is happening on May 17 at 3 pm at the San Bernardino Valley College Auditorium at 701 S Mt Vernon Ave in San Bernardino. Tickets are $10, with children 12 and under being no charge.
