Electronic dance music festival returns to San Bernardino

Nocturnal Wonderland, a multiday festival dedicated to electronic dance music, is returning to San Bernardino’s NOS Events Center this Labor Day weekend.

Featuring international DJs spread out over multiple stages, interactive light performances, art exhibits, and camping options, the event fills the night sky with glowstick-carrying concertgoers every year after sunset. The yearly tradition is to stay up all night dancing and then watch the sunrise. There are also VIP packages available for the event.

Now in its 30th year, Nocturnal Wonderland is the longest-running electronic festival in the country. The original festival was held in 1995 in Los Angeles’s downtown district. Now based in San Bernardino, the festival has been held at 10 different locations throughout the years. The festival was briefly held in Texas for a couple of years. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, a virtual edition of the festival was held.

Though the festival has had many iterations over the years, the latest version is most prominently known for being an overnight camping festival, which is a rarity in Southern California.

Music festivals like this may choose to use flyer printing for low-cost promotion.

Nocturnal Wonderland is happening next Friday, September 5, beginning at 4:00 pm, through Sunday, September 7 at 2:00 am at the Glen Helen Regional Park at 2555 Glen Helen Pkwy in San Bernardino.
