San Bernardino to offer rattlesnake avoidance training

The Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley will host a training session in May that helps owners teaches dogs about avoiding dangerous snakes.

Rattlesnake Avoidance Training is a program that dog owners can use to teach their pets how to stay away from rattlesnakes when encountering them during walks or in yards. The training will be led by the organization High On Kennels. The training activity will place the dogs in an environment with rattlesnakes and use electronic collars to dissuade the animals from interacting with the snakes. The rattlesnakes used in the exercise are neutralized and cannot bite the dogs.

High On Kennels is an organization that provides dog training services to people. The company was founded in 1998 by Tracy Presson, an experienced dog instructor who has been handling canines since she was 12. The business also offers services such as boarding dogs and obedience training. High On Kennels is located in the mountains of San Diego County and has been featured on the San Diego news station.

The Rattlesnake Avoidance Training program will be held on Friday, May 25th at 9:00 am. The cost to take part in the training session will be $85. All participants must book their appointments for the event in advance. Organizations that offer dog training lessons similar to this may use poster printing to let people know about their future courses.
