The National Security Studies Club will be organizing a development workshop in February at California State University in San Bernardino.
The Professional Development Workshop is an event where students can learn about the application process for getting into the Intelligence Community. Participants get to craft an intelligence product during a mock Policymaker Daily Brief at the start of the session. The club's program will teach attendees how to write compelling resumes and cover letters. The security clearance process will also be covered during the workshop.
The National Security Studies Club is an organization that helps students at California State University prepare for security-related programs. The group is also open to those who are not pursuing a major in National Security. Many activities are organized by the security club, such as intelligence simulation workshops and interview workshops. College organizations like this can use poster printing for marketing their club programs to other students.
The development workshop will take place on Friday, February 4th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Participating students should register in advance. There is no fee to attend the club’s activity. Those who sign up for the event are asked to bring their draft resumes to get the most from the experience. The contact information for the National Security Studies Club and its bylaws can be viewed on the organization’s webpage.
