San Bernardino museum to give lecture on Egypt

The Robert & Frances Fullerton Museum of Art in San Bernardino will be holding a lecture in April discussing Egyptian mythology.

Redeeming Demons: Coopting Demonic Forces for Good in Ancient Egypt is a presentation where attendees can discover interesting facts about the divine creatures depicted in Egyptian art and texts. The conference will discuss the benevolent demons in Egyptian mythology and show what methods ancient Egyptians used to influence these creatures. The event will feature panelists like Kasia Szpakowska, Rita Lucarelli, and Bryan Kraemer.

The Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art is an educational facility housing over 1,200 objects and has about 7,500 square feet of gallery space. Students who attend California State University can work at the facility for hands-on experience for future careers related to museums. The venue also hosts networking events and corporate functions. Art museums like this can inform people about its future activities by using poster printing services.

The lesson on Egyptian mythology will be held on Saturday, April 10th from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Those interested in learning about the topic can register for the presentation in advance. Attendees will need to provide a name and email address to get an invite to the Zoom call. Other upcoming events at the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art can be found on their website.
