San Bernardino band to give holiday performance

The San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra will perform a Christmas-themed concert at a local theater in December.

A Christmas Festival is an event held at the Historic California Theatre of the Performing Arts. Viewers can watch skilled soloists and chorus singers perform seasonal hits at the concert. The program will also celebrate the 100th anniversary of Sergei Prokofiev’s Second Piano Concerto with a special performance by Rob Thies.

The San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra is a group that performs at many notable venues, like the San Bernardino Valley College Auditorium and Sturges Center for the Fine Arts. The personnel manager for the band is Noah Gladstone, and the group’s recording engineer is Adam Michalak.

The California Theatre is an entertainment venue built in 1928. The building’s auditorium can seat more than 1,700 people. Several publications have voted the venue as the best live theater in the Inland Empire, such as the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin and the San Bernardino Sun Newspaper.

The seasonal performance will be held on Saturday, December 16 and will begin at 7:30 pm. Ticket prices range from $20 to $100. Discounts for the event are available for students and veterans who call the theater’s office in advance and show their IDs at the door. Performance venues that host similar concerts may use printing services to advertise their holiday shows.
