The CycloMesa Festival will be returning to Mesa in early April.
The Phoenix Children's Hospital will host a Bike Rodeo, City of Mesa’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Program will pass out free helmets, United Escapes of America – Mesa will present a scavenger hunt, and Pedal Pro Detailing will be providing tune-ups. Smashwork will bring a tandem bicycle sculpture for a photo opportunity.
As for art, the Mesa Public Library will have a Decoration Station, Kyllan Maney will have an interactive art program, She Draws for You will be creating caricatures, and the Bicycle Spin Art station will be using pedal power to create art.
Other activities will include mini golf, a zip line, rock wall, inflatables, balloon twisting, face painting and yard games.
Some vendor booths will include Bike Saviours, Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona, Bob's Free Bikes and Safe Kids Maricopa County.
The main stage will have entertainment from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, The superhero Stunt Team will have BMX Stunt Shows and the Arizona Rollergirls will put on Roller Derby demonstrations. The Arizona Diamondbacks Baxter the Bobcat will be meeting ClycloMesa attendees and unicyclists, and Rudy King the Backwards Bike Rider will be meandering through the crowd.
Food and beverage vendors at events like this often have local Print shops use their logo designs and have them imprinted on their paper products.
This year's CycloMesa Festival will be at the Mesa City Center Plaza, April 5th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
