Mesa runners will be turning out in droves to beat their previous time, qualify for the Boston Marathon or just plain enjoy the Mesa Marathon coming in mid-February.
The marathon will begin on Usery Mountain under the Phoenix sign and will take runners down through Mesa. The half marathon will begin at Norwalk and McDowell and the 10k will begin at Fitch Park. A free Kids' 1k run for kids under the age of 13 will take place on the road between Makitto Sushi and Hubbard Family Swim School. All three adult races will start at 6:30 am. and will end at Riverview Park.
All 10k and marathon runners will need to ride the bus as there is no parking at those start lines. However, the half marathon runners will be able to park and walk to the half marathon start line.
An Expo will take place at Riverview Park the day before the race. All race participants are required to pick up their packets here.
Spectators are encouraged to support their favorite runners at one of the 12 cheering locations. Spectators at running events like this often get small colorful banner printing done beforehand to have something to wave.
Registration will be $189 for the marathon, $169 for the half marathon and $69 for the 10k. Registration will include finisher medals, technical running shirts, and food at the finish line.
The 2026 Mesa Marathon will take place February 14th at Riverview Park, 2100 Rio Salado Parkway.
