Downtown Mesa will be holding Willmeng Arizona Celebration of Freedom 2026 in early July to commemorate the nation's 250th birthday.
Entertainment will begin at around 6:30 pm with a flyover. Stage America, located in the middle of the event on the large lawn, will have Soulitify, A Drone Show, a Salute to America program and fireworks beginning at 9:30 pm.
The Patriotic Superhero Stunt Show featuring professional BMX stunt riders will be located between the amphitheater and food court.
Historic Flags of the U.S. will be shown in the Conference Theater in Independence Hall Building B, and Building B will also house the America's Arts and Culture Showcase. A Let Freedom Ring Laser Light Show will kick off Phoenix Championship Wrestling in the Main Hall, Building C and repeat between matches.
From 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm, the US Coast Guard Auxiliary Arizona Band will be presenting the America 250 Birthday Celebration at the Amphitheatre. A Patriotic Military showcase will feature vehicles, aircraft, inflatable Drill SGT, Football Toss and pull up bar.
A free Yankee Doodle Kids' Zone will feature a carnival, including a Patriot Potato Sack Race, a Hula Hoop contest, and Musical Chairs. Center Street will have inflatable free water slides. Stationery printers often use pictures of fireworks like those presented here on their 4th of July greeting cards.
