Mesa enjoys annual downtown event

The 2025 Reindeer Roll and Stroll will be coming to Downtown Mesa in early December.

Our city's Bicycle and Pedestrian Program will once again host the popular event. This year's self-guided scavenger hunt, which is an arm of Mesa's Look Twice Challenge, will have participants walking, biking or rolling through Downtown Mesa stopping at designated checkpoints that will be offering challenges, clues, and photo ops disclosing the next location. Holiday-themed tasks will include costume contests, riddles and interactive prompts. Participants in the scavenger hunt may begin their runs anytime during the event. Free bike helmets will be distributed as long as supplies last.

Points will be accumulated after completing the challenges. First place prizes for the hunt will be a bicycle worth $400 and a $100 gift card from Downtown businesses. Second place will be a $50 swag bag and a $50 gift card. The third-place winner will receive a water bottle and $25 gift card.

Santa will be available for photo opportunities and downtown will be lit up for the season.

Parents that get pictures of their littles ones sitting on Santa's lap often take the photos to local printers to be added to family newsletters or to local Stationery printers to become personalized Holiday Cards.

Novel Ice Cream will be serving free ice cream.

The 2025 Reindeer Roll and Stroll will be free and will take place from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm December 5th at Plaza at Mesa City Center, 20 E. Main Street.
