What's Happening in Mesa, AZ…

Patton Oswalt, a comedian who is as prolific on the stage as he is on the silver screen, is coming to the Mesa Arts Center this fall.

Oswalt has toured stages all across the nation with his stand-up for multiple decades, all the while slowly gaining a following in the mainstream through increasingly prominent appearances on screens both big and small.

His TV acting debut was none other than the acclaimed sitcom Seinfeld. From there, he starred as a regular supporting character, Spence, in The King of Queens for nine seasons, becoming a familiar face to households across the U.S. Other TV appearances would similarly generate acclaim throughout the years, including his guest appearance on Parks and Recreation, which won him a TV Critics Choice Award.

However, Oswalt’s voice has become just as iconic as the comedian’s distinctive look. Most notably, he starred as the animated rat Remy in the Oscar-winning Pixar film Ratatouille. Ever since, he’s been a regular in other acclaimed animated works, such as starring as Max in The Secret Life of Pets 2, and having regular roles in Rick and Morty, BoJack Horseman and Archer.

Comedy shows like this may choose to use poster printing to create low-cost promotion in the community.
