Toward the beginning of May, the Children's Cancer Network will be presenting its 15th Run to Fight Children's Cancer 5k run/walk, 10k and Cancer Hero Walk.
All skill levels and ages are invited to celebrate survivorship and honor those who are no longer with us. Spectators are invited to cheer on participants. Many who participate this way in charity events often use banner printing done to show their support.
The 10k will start at 7:00 am, followed by the 5k at 7:45 am. At 9:00 am A Cancer Hero Walk will begin taking families with members fighting cancer and those fighting cancer themselves around Mesa Riverview Park's Pond. Spectators also invited to cheer them on.
Dizzie Ramsey Music and Just Energy Entertainment will be providing music and fun at the post party. Guests will also be treated to games, vendors and arts and crafts.
Individual registration for the 10 k or 10k combined with the Cancer Hero Walk will be $40. Walkers or runners for the 5k or the combination 5k and Cancer Hero Walk will cost $35. The Cancer Hero Walk only will be free.
Swag will include finisher medals and event shirts.
Proceeds will go to Children's Cancer Research to benefit those children and their families here in Arizona.
Run to fight Children's Cancer will take place Saturday 3rd May at Mesa Riverview Park, 2100 W Rio Salado Parkway.
