Summer camps to keep Glen Allen kids engaged

Glen Allen children can have fun while learning about science, technology, engineering, and math at the STEMtree summer camps.

This camp can help children to explore and develop their interest in science and technology. The camp activities encourage children to ignite their curiosity through science workouts and experiments. Children can increase their knowledge of engineering and computer programming. This camp can introduce them to subjects like robotics, electronics and electricity.

During the first week they attend, each kid has to complete an assessment. This helps to get a view of the child’s interests and current knowledge levels. STEMtree then uses this information to make a learning program tailored to each child’s needs. The program is spread across every week of summer, and is kept in place for each camp to help children continuously grow their knowledge and build on their interests.

Registration is available for every week in summer. The camp allows for free early drop-off and late pick-up. Events like summer camps are usually promoted with flyer printing and distribution. More information is available at the STEMtree website.

The camp will be held at STEMtree of Glen Allen at 10921 W at Broad Street. Registration is open for each week throughout summer from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Prior registration is required to attend the camp.
