Richmond’s premier professional job fair is returning to Glen Allen in its usual in-person format next month to help interest jobseekers connect with prospective employers.
The RVA Career Expo will be presented by the Richmond Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to build and maintain a strong relationship between the university and the alumni community. Together, the expo and the Richmond Chapter have given $200,000 in scholarships to local high school seniors to help them on the path to academic success and future job opportunities.
The job fair is free and open to all jobseekers, regardless of whether they are affiliated with the university. Participating employers will have full-time and part-time job positions available, as well as internship opportunities. A diverse range of industries will be represented, including engineering, construction, science, marketing, hospitality, healthcare, and government. Organizers recommend that attendees update their resumé before the event and Print out several Copies to provide to employers at the fair.
Jobseekers attending career fairs like this may visit their local Print shops to prepare printed Copies of resumés to give to inquiring employers.
The RVA Career Expo is scheduled for March 11 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. It will take place at The Cultural Arts Center, located at 2880 Mountain Road, Glen Allen.
