Glen Allen workshop to open door for fall crafts
Fall craft enthusiasts should note that Kim and Garrett Make It! will hold the Fall Door Hanger Workshop in Glen Allen next month to welcome back the fall season.
Kim and Garrett Make It! is comprised of husband-and-wife team Kim and Garrett who provide help to DIY enthusiasts through their home decor kits and craft workshops. The workshop happening in September will teach attendees how to make their own fall-themed door hanger using a crafting kit created by Kim and Garrett.
During the workshop, participants will learn how to build, paint, and stain a 16-inch door hanger. Unlike a paint-by-the-numbers class, the hangers will be painted and constructed in multiple layers and then assembled into a whole piece. All supplies will be provided, including the entire decorative kit, paint, hanger, and assembly bow. After the hanger itself is finished, attendees will learn how to create a customized bow that matches the colors of the hanger. Participants will be able to choose from a selection of different kits.
