The Walkerton Tavern at Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center will host A Hanover Social Affair, a social dance event for Hanover High juniors and seniors in November.
Built in 1825, The Walkerton Tavern is now operated by the Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center. This addition to the center serves as a venue for private events, as well as additional space for cultural events. A Hanover Social Affair will be a privately held event for Hanover juniors and seniors, but it is not affiliated with the actual high school organization.
The social dance will be a rain or shine event, and tickets must be purchased online because no at-the-door tickets will be sold on the night of the event. The dance is restricted to only Hanover High juniors and seniors and their dates. Complimentary light refreshments will be served, but there is a zero-tolerance policy concerning alcohol, smoking, or vaporing on the venue premises.
A Hanover Social Affair is slated for November 6, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The Walkerton Tavern is located at 2880 Mountain Road, Glen Allen. Tickets can be found on Eventbrite and must be purchased by November 5.
