Glen Allen to host Christmas tea extravaganza
The Virginia Cliffe Inn will host A Christmas Tea Party in Glen Allen for mothers and daughters to experience a special holiday-themed tea on three December dates.
The Virginia Cliffe Inn was originally built in 1950 by James and Margaret Clifton who dismantled the 1850 farmhouse on the property and rebuilt it into a home modeled after George Washington’s military headquarters in Newburgh, New York. In 1997, the Cliftons made the house into a bed and breakfast and officially opened it to the public. The inn also serves as an event space hosting a variety of events, including weddings, photoshoots, and community meetups.
The Winter Wonderland Tea Extravaganza is organized especially for mothers and their daughters to enjoy a special tea with each other against the picturesque backdrop of the stately Virginia Cliffe Inn. There will be an elegant array of gourmet pastries and other baked goods, complemented by a selection of high-quality teas. There will also be dairy-free and gluten-free options available.
