To celebrate the last Friday before school starts again, Glen Allen Community Center will host the Glow Pool Party for the whole family to enjoy.
Since its incorporation in 1956, the Glen Allen Community Center (GACC) has provided community, recreational, and social events for Glen Allen residents. The pool party is one such event the center is hosting to benefit families with children going back to school. Since this can be a stressful time, the pool party offers a chance to let loose and relax while also fellowshipping with other families.
The event will also be a glow party with glowsticks provided by organizers. There will be rubber duckies for sale so that partygoers can decorate them and then race them down the slides. Proceeds raised from the sales will go towards a local charity organization. Free Kona Ice will be available courtesy of Traci Reali from SBRG Real Estate.
Organizers of events like this may decide decorating the venue with festive Banners would be an effective way to add ambiance to the event. As such, they may invest in local banner printing services to do so.
The glow party is scheduled for Friday, August 16 from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Glen Allen Community Center is located at 10800 Brookley Road. GACC members and their guests are welcome to attend, with a guest fee of $10 in place.
